Disney Halloween Outfits: 4 Fun and Festive Looks

September 12, 2024

Hello Foolish Mortals. Disney lovers. Spooky sisters everywhere. “Tis time!” Halloween is in full swing at Disney, and I’m so excited I could practically run amok. If you’re like me and plan to visit this year, you’ve probably already been thinking about what you’re going to wear. Yet, with so many options what to choose?

Whether you’re hitting the parks during the day, gearing up for the Oogie Boogie Bash (at Disney California Adventure), or planning a night at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (at Disney World) we’ve got you covered. Whatever adventures may be in store for you, these outfits will have you feeling cute and cozy, as you meet your favorite characters and hit those night-time treat trails.

Now let’s “dig” in, shall we?—-Muahahaha!

Nightmare Before Christmas

“Of course, I’ve been too close to see! The answer’s right in front of me!,” said Jack!

If you’re wondering what to wear that will be fun, festive, and comfortable, this look for you—no bones about it. Start with this little black dress, or any black dress you like. This one has built-in shorts, perfect for frolicking with your ghouls, while making sure the moon doesn’t come out umm, unexpectedly. Add striped over-the-knee socks for a playful nod to Jack’s classic look, and then rock your favorite Converse Chuck Taylor’s. Throw on this cozy Jack Skellington hoodie to keep the chills away, and don’t forget those Nightmare Before Christmas Disney ears to top it all off. This outfit is so on point it’s almost scary.

You’ll also want to bring a good bag or backpack, so your belongings are secure, and your hands are free for snacking, shopping, and taking pictures. Loungefly has so many adorable options it was impossible to choose. Here are a few of my favorites for this look.

Pumpkin Princess

You don’t need a fairy godmother for this outfit to come together. Whether you’re at Oogie Boogie Bash or Mickey’s Not-So-Scary, it’s a magical time of year when turning into a pumpkin is totally on-trend!

Haunted Mansion

Serpents and spiders, tail of a rat,” call in the outfits wherever they’re at. Madame Leota sends you a message from somewhere beyond. The spirits say, you will be drop-dead gorgeous in whatever you wear, but beware these grim, grinning ghosts will be dying to socialize with you.

Even if “your cadaverous pallor betrays an aura of foreboding,” this outfit and the cute matching accessories, will have you looking alive.

Just a Bunch of Hocus Pocus

Get ready to brew up some fun with a casual Hocus Pocus outfit that’s perfect for Halloween at Disney. You and your “sistas” will be ready to fly in this cool graphic tee paired with chunky, witchy-combat boots that scream “Dance, dance until you die!” Add a cardigan for those chilly California nights, and don’t forget your cauldron, or backpack to carry all your spells, I mean treats.

No yabbos required for this cool, yet casual look.

These bags are perfect for carrying anything from your potion, to your lucky rat tail, and still leave room for some “chocolate-covered fingers, of a man named Clark.”

This will be my first year attending the Oogie Boogie Bash at California Adventure, and in true Disney-adult fashion, I’ve been doing a ton of research and planning. Shout out to all you Disney influencers out there! For those who can’t make it this year, I will bring you with to share a little magic along the way.
